Island-Hopping Along the Dalmatian Coast

Your adventure begins in Split, where you wander through the ancient stone walls of Diocletian’s Palace before sailing toward the islands. Each day brings a new place to discover. Cycle across beautiful islands like Brač, famous for its radiant white limestone that has traveled the world to grace buildings like the White House; glide through Hvar’s fragrant lavender fields; explore peaceful Vis, once closed to outsiders; roll into medieval Korčula; and ride through the forested beauty of Mljet. Quiet roads lead you past hilltop towns with sweeping coastal views, along vineyards that catch the afternoon light, and through small fishing villages where life moves at an easy pace. Along the way, swim at famous beaches, wander historic old towns, and soak in the crystal-clear Adriatic waters.

Ride Your Way, Relax Every Day

Your deluxe motor yacht carries you from one destination to the next while you dine, sleep, and enjoy breakfast on board. Some days offer two gentle rides, one in the morning and one later in the afternoon. Other days, you pedal across an entire island and meet the ship in its next harbor. You choose the pace that feels right for you, and your guides are always ready with support.

Your journey finishes in magnificent Dubrovnik, where you explore the UNESCO-listed Old Town before sharing a celebratory farewell dinner aboard the Harmonia. It’s bike touring at its finest. No buses. No repacking. Just beautiful islands, timeless history, and a lovely blend of adventure and comfort as you discover Croatia by bike.

From the town of Vis, you cycle once around the entire island with a coffee stop in the harbor of Komiža and the option for a traditional lunch along the way before returning to the boat. After the tour, the boat takes us to the harbor of Vela Luka on the Island of Korčula where we spend the night.

The picturesque town of Korčula competes with Venice for the honor of being the possible birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Ilija mountain range. The famous local wines named Plavac and Dingač originate from this unique wine region where vineyards can be found firmly rooted into the steep mountainside. Today‘s bicycle ride takes you along the coastline from Orebić to Trstenik, where the boat will wait for us with a delicious lunch (a short 4km distance of the tour is ridden on gravel roads to avoid the traffic of the busy main road).

With the option for lunch on board, you set off toward the green island of Mljet, where you can enjoy an afternoon bike tour or a hike through the Mljet National Park with its two salt lakes. The night is spent in the harbour of Pomena.

You are welcome to book your pre-tour stay at any hotel in Split. For easy access to local sights and a central location, consider staying near Diocletian's Palace or the Split waterfront. You must make your own way to the ship at the pre-designated time, though taxis and Ubers are readily available throughout the city.

Your tour ends at Port Gruz at 9am.

Between cycling excursions, the Harmonia cruises to a new destination each day. You'll enjoy meals on board, with the schedule varying depending on sailing times and docking locations. Some days feature two shorter rides — one before and one after lunch — giving you the flexibility to skip one if you prefer. Other days, you'll ride from one side of an island to the other to meet the ship at its next location. Each day, you can choose your own pace and return to your floating retreat to relax.
