Each day, you’ll have route options with suggested distance and elevation, along with Ride with GPS navigation to guide you along the way. Ride the full route, choose a shorter option, or add extra miles if you’re feeling strong.
Our guides are there to support you throughout the day, and our support vehicle is always nearby if you’d rather take a break. Electric bikes are available on most tours, making it easier to manage hills or keep pace with the group.

Levels

Level 1: Relaxed & Easygoing
Average Daily Mileage: 8 - 20 miles
Elevation Gain: 0 - 800 feet
Mostly flat, shorter rides at an easy pace, with gentle terrain and plenty of time to enjoy the scenery.
Level 2: Rolling & Moderate
Average Daily Mileage: 18 - 32 miles
Elevation Gain: 500 - 1,500 feet
Rolling terrain with moderate hills and comfortable daily distances.
Level 3: Comfortably Active
Average Daily Mileage: 26 - 42 miles
Elevation Gain: 1,200 - 2,800 feet
Longer rides with frequent hills and more time in the saddle, creating rewarding, engaging days on the bike.
Level 4: Challenging & Adventurous
Average Daily Mileage: 36 - 55 miles
Elevation Gain: 2,500 - 4,800 feet
Energetic full-day rides with sustained climbs, longer distances, and a higher level of physical effort.
Electric Assist
Available on most Discovery Bicycle Tours, e-bikes give your own pedal power an extra boost, helping you ride longer distances, tackle tougher climbs, and keep pace with the group.
