Want to Join the Discovery Bicycle Tours Team?
We believe the right people make all the difference — on the road and behind the scenes. At Discovery Bicycle Tours, we're a small, close-knit team who genuinely love what we do, and we're always looking for warm, passionate people who share that spirit.
We're big on cultural fit. Our team is brought together by a shared love of travel, the outdoors, and taking real care of the people around them. We go the extra mile, we genuinely care, and we're proud of the warm, welcoming culture we've built over nearly five decades on the road.
Our tour leaders are the heart of every tour — many have been with us for years, some for decades. Whether you're looking to lead tours out on the road or support our guests from behind the scenes in Woodstock, Vermont, we'd love to hear from you.

Become a Discovery Bicycle Tours Guide
Our tour leaders are the heart of every tour — warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about making each day on the road special. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for people who are as comfortable helping a guest fix a flat tire as they are recommending the best local café on the route. You'll be the face of Discovery Bicycle Tours — and that's a role we take seriously.
You'll bring:
- A genuine passion for meeting new people
- Clear, confident communication skills
- Leadership skills and a calm, professional manner
- Motivation, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
- Physical fitness and the ability to ride daily
- A valid driver's license
- Experience in hospitality or customer service
- A love of the outdoors and cycling
- First aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic bike maintenance skills (a plus)
- Experience driving with and backing a trailer (a plus)
- Knowledge of the trails and destinations we offer (a plus)
- Experience working with diverse groups of people
- Basic computer skills
- The ability to be away from home for up to 14 days at a time
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
