It all began in Vermont. Picture quiet back roads, covered bridges, and lake views stretching out beside you. A small group of cyclists set out to share the beauty of their home state with anyone who wanted to come along, and just like that, Bike Vermont was born.
That gentle, unhurried way of traveling, taking time to look around, to stop when something catches your eye, to enjoy the ride rather than rush through it, is still at the heart of every tour today.
Over the years, our name has changed to Discovery Bicycle Tours and the destinations have grown. You might find yourself pedaling through the vineyards of Europe, along coastal roads in New Zealand, or into the rhythms of daily life in Asia and beyond.
But wherever you ride, the feeling stays the same: freedom, connection, and the quiet joy of discovering a place from the seat of a bike.
