Make your way to The Aviary Hotel at your leisure, about a 20-minute taxi or ride-service journey from the airport. Settle into your boutique hotel and unwind after your travels, perhaps with a dip in the pool or a visit to the Khmer Tonics Spa and Gym.
If you arrive early and feel like exploring, the hotel offers several optional excursions. Otherwise, the day is entirely yours to relax and recharge before your adventure begins. 
Enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace. This evening, you’re free to choose where and when you’d like to dine.

Meet your guide at the hotel at 8 a.m. and drive about an hour through the Cambodian countryside in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to Kulen National Park.

Lace up your walking shoes for a hike along the Langur Trail, named for the shy, leaf-eating monkeys that inhabit the area. Follow the trail past fascinating carvings in the riverbed and a waterfall before reaching a temple tucked into the escarpment. Along the way, cool off with a refreshing dip in a spring-fed pool.

After your hike, return to Siem Reap and relax at your hotel.

Dinner is together at one of the city’s best restaurants.

Set out by bike directly from your hotel and ride into Angkor Archaeological Park, following the Angkor Bikeway and hidden trails through forest and centuries-old ruins.

Stop to explore several remarkable temples dating from the 12th and 13th centuries, where Buddhist and Hindu carvings reveal layers of history and belief. At Bayon, take in its serene stone faces before continuing to Preah Khan, an atmospheric temple complex where trees and other vegetation intertwine with unrestored stonework.

Continue to compact Ta Som, where a dramatic ficus tree envelops part of the temple. Traditional snacks and fresh coconut juice provide a welcome boost before you ride on to Banteay Srei. Built from distinctive pink sandstone, this exquisite temple is known for its remarkably intricate carvings.

Rise early for an unforgettable finale: sunrise at Angkor Wat. In the soft morning light, explore the temple’s chambers and inner reaches as your guide brings the stories depicted in its elaborate carvings to life. Then leave the temple behind for breakfast in a secluded spot beside the river.
After breakfast, get back on your bike for one last ride, following hidden trails and riding along the top of Angkor Thom’s defensive walls. Pass the lesser-known Tanei temple before stopping to explore Ta Prohm, where towering trees and ancient stone create one of Angkor’s most memorable scenes.

Return to your hotel for a quick shower and late checkout. Your guide will then take you to the airport for your flight home or your onward journey.

On the first day of the tour, our driver will meet you and accompany you to your hotel. You are welcome to book your pre-tour stay at any hotel in Siem Reap, though you must make your own way to The Aviary Hotel on Day 1. Dinner is on your own, and you’ll meet your Tour Leader for breakfast at 8am on Day 2.

Your tour ends with a drop-off at either the Siem Reap International Airport at 6:30pm in time for flights below or we can leave you at the last night’s hotel, The Aviary Hotel, around 6pm.

Arrival: We recommend arriving in Siem Reap at least the day before your tour starts. Many guests like to arrive a day or two early to accommodate potential flight delays and/or explore the city prior to your tour start.

Departure: Flying out on the last day of the tour, we recommend departing from Siem Reap after 8:30pm. Earlier flight times will require a separate transfer booked at your own expense.
