As of Aug. 23, 2024, we have a new booking policy that will help you make your travel plans earlier. Final payments are due 90 days in advance of North American departures and 120 days ahead of international departures. That means we can guarantee departures further in advance, giving you more time to book your travel.
In addition, deposits are nonrefundable but become Lifetime Deposit Credits. You can use them for any tour in the future or pass the credit along to a friend. Deposits are $750 for tours that are 6 days or longer, and $500 for shorter tours. This allows us to be more certain that guests really want to go on the tour, so we can guarantee the trip earlier. TOURS THAT HAVE A "GREEN LIGHT" TO RUN:
You should receive an email notification when the trip is set to run. This is based on reaching the minimum number of reserved guests (usually 8 or more) and will generally be at (or before) the final payment due date. Remember to look for that email or check with us before making non-refundable travel arrangements. And please consider travel insurance.
Although COVID-19 vaccinations are not required, it's still a good idea (and a courtesy to other guests and leaders) to wear a mask in the shuttle van if you are feeling ill ... or if you are especially at risk for respiratory illness.
OFFICE HOURS:
Our usual office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time (and some expanded hours evenings and Sundays). We try to reply within 2 business days.
