Some of the Main Reasons You Need Insurance:
- Medical Emergencies: the best medical treatment is private, and you could be in a remote location when an emergency occurs.
- Medical Evacuation: to help you get home if you’re injured or seriously ill and need to end your trip early.
- Trip Cancellation: there can be unavoidable circumstances (illness, family problems, change of job) that may force you to cancel your trip at short notice.
- Flight delays: airline strikes and bad weather do happen, and they can result in travel delays and itinerary changes.
- Lost luggage: if your airline delays your luggage and you need to purchase items to continue on your trip.

For most of our tours, travel insurance is highly recommended but not required. However, for our Vietnam and Cambodia tours, it’s required to have travel insurance that covers comprehensive medical treatment and evacuation in the case of an emergency.
